Jackknifed Tractor-Trailer Closes Route 1 In Central Jersey

Part of Route 1 in Central Jersey was closed due to a jackknifed tractor-trailer, authorities said.

The crash occurred at about 7 a.m. Monday on Route 1 in South Brunswick Township, initial reports said. 

At least one southbound lane was shut down as the other lane was cleared, reports said.
